Taste of Kingston | Dishcrawl

Definition |  Dishcrawl
One night, one experience of bringing local people together over delicious local food at restaurants that define your city.

The start-up dining experience founded by Tracy Lee of San Franciso has taken North America by storm with 125 cities and counting, Dishcrawl is rapidly expanding its culinary social networking series and has now arrived to Kingston.

Now...

Meet Christine McCullough, the Kingston Dishcrawl Ambassador.

If you're a foodie or simply want to be surprised by a food adventure while meeting great people around Downtown Kingston, then Dishcrawl Kingston is what you're looking for and Christine is your point of contact.

With a background in culinary management, event management and over eight years in the hospitality industry, Christine was empowered by the concept of Dishcrawl and her love of food. Hence joining Dishcrawl seemed like the perfect move in the right direction. As Kingston has more restaurants per capita then any city in Ontario,  Christine was wise in her decision to introduce the city of Kingston to this growing trend.

With the debut event having been held on September 17th, 2013, it was quite the success with guests touring Tir Nan Og, Sir John A Public House, Chez Piggy and Sipps Coffee and Dessert Bar. People left satisfied and bellies full. Social media played a key aspect in promoting the event and Christine has taken full advantage of the online marketing world, while connecting and promoting Dishcrawl.

What to expect at Dishcrawl Kingston?
During the course of the night, guests will venture to 4 local restaurants within walking distance with a total of 2-4 hours for the event with approximately 45 minutes spent at each establishment. Restaurant locations are kept a mystery until the day of the event, while meeting location is revealed 2 days prior.

Why is Dishcrawl Kingston worth trying?
Dine and have the experience of meeting other foodies, local chefs and owners while enjoying a variety of appetizer size meals that were made especially for you. You won't be disappointed as you have the opportunity to discover some hidden gems within your city and to re-imagine the way you think about food, drink and your community.

Next Event:
In the spirt of Halloween, Dishcrawl will be crawling their way through Downtown Kingston on October 23rd, 2013, but with a haunted theme. It's a guessing game, so join in on the fun and excitement, so be sure to come on an empty stomach and treat yourself to a night out on the town.

Don't wait, get your tickets now only $60!

Stay tuned for a Dishcrawl Kingston giveaway at noon today and keep an eye out for hints!

Enjoy!
