The city of Kingston is awakening from the untempered winter weather with some truly delightful and vibrant new spots in the downtown core. This spring, we welcome some new fun filled additions within the same block that certainly require mention and will be at the top of your bucket list.
NORTHSIDE espresso + kitchen
Inspired by the thriving cafe culture of Melbourne, Australia, Northside is located in the old but beautiful Turk's building on Princess Street. This cafe is where breakfast is served all day, coffee is a way of life and bright vibes can be found.

The food is seriously delicious and Instagram worthy!

This new spot is all about making healthy eating convenient and affordable by offering fresh and nutritious meal choices that energize people on the go. So if you're a fan of buddha bowls, smoothies or energy bits, Freshii was made for you!

The Pangoa bowl is highly recommended - it is the perfect combo of fresh with an extra kick of spice.
New Brunch Menu at Stone City Ale
Though in operation for over 2 years, Stone City Ale has always been a favourite of mine and better yet, it has recently offered a scrumptious but simple Sunday brunch menu. From breakfast bao, waffles, poached egg over hash with sweet potato, more options now include shakshuka, citrus salad and a vegan breakfast taco. This locale is perfect community hang out and a great supporter of local farmers and suppliers
