Get ready Kingston! An exciting adventure down the rabbit hole and into Wonderland Escape Rooms & Board Game Lounge awaits as this completely family-friendly space based on nostalgic stories and fairytales is now open!
Designed by Melissa Eapen and Emma Rochon, the young creative brains of the ever so popular Improbable Escapes that first opened in downtown Kingston in 2015, Wonderland is your chance to roll the dice and play some board games, both new and old from Unstable Unicorns and Exploding Kittens to childhood favourites such as Game of Life. Hang on a second, since the makers of Improbable Escapes specialize in escapes rooms, you bet there's one at this location with more to come in the future! And let me tell you, it's pretty amazing especially from the level of detail to the storyline - I won't reveal too much but it involves a bad apple. So I'll leave that one with you to figure out. 😉
So, loyal escapees gather up your most competitive crew with a diversity of unique thinkers, of course, so you have all your bases covered and get ready to get your game on! Did I mention there's a lounge as well? Craving a mid-day snack or need your daily caffeine fix? They've got you covered but with a unique twist. There's also plenty of savoury goods to be served, warm bevies such as lattes to keep your energy up and my personal favourite, wine along with local craft beer! Yup, they are fully licensed as well. Did that catch your attention? Whether you're seeking a family adventure out, date night or get together with your pals, hop on over to Wonderland.
