Feb Fest: A Toast to Tapas 2016


It may not be a winter wonderland in downtown Kingston but we sure are ready for the annual Feb Fest adventures! From the Carr-Harris Cup, Imagination on Ice with Nam Nguyen, meet and greet with Ron Ellis to public skating, there's no better excuse than to join in on the fun with friends and family.


What am I most excited for? Toast to Tapas of course!

You have the opportunity to spice up your Feb Fest experience by indulging in local food pairings at some of downtown Kingston's best restaurants (featured below) with a glass of local wine or beer all weekend long. This fabulous feature is brought to you by Downtown Kingston and runs daily from 3-6pm Feb 4-7. 

Bonus it's only $9.95!

Amadeus
Wallace Beef goulash soup and Lyon Farms chicken paprikash.
Paired with Sandbanks Baco Noir.

Aqua Terra
Braised water buffalo ravioli with a Patchwork Gardens celery root puree, natural jus, pickled purple dragon carrots and mustard greens.
Paired with 12 oz local draft beer or 4 oz glass of house wine.

The Grizzly Grill
Butternut squash soup with Seed to Sausage chorizo crisp, roasted Patchwork Gardens beet salad with Northern Italian salami, pea shoots and creamy garlic dressing, and Enright Cattle Co. cheeseburger slider with Wilton old cheddar and chipotle ketchup.
Paired with Mackinnon Brothers Crosscut Ale.

Tibbon’s Farm pork tenderloin porchetta, arugula pesto, warm Patchwork Gardens beet salad

Dianne’s Fish Shack & Smokehouse
Smoked lamb tostada, crispy Patchwork Gardens celery root, roasted SunTech cherry tomatoes, Canreg Station Farm pecorino.
Paired with Stone City Ales Ships in the Night oatmeal stout.

Harper’s Burger Bar
Black River cheddar mac ‘n cheese bites.

Baby BLT – Seed to Sausage strip bacon, vine tomato jam, roasted garlic aioli and greens on a pretzel slider bun.
 Paired with Amsterdam All Natural Blond Lager.

Kingston Brewing Company
House-made feta dip served with local veggies.
Paired with Brew Pub Merlot or Chardonnay.

Le Chien Noir Bistro
Braised and roasted house made Ravensfield Farm bacon, Patchwork Gardens & Seed to Sausage chorizo potato salad, sundried tomato aioli.
Paired with Stone City Ales 12 Star Session Ale.

Olivea
Grilled house made pork sausage with fried polenta and caramelized onions.
Paired with MacKinnon Brothers 8 Man EPA.

Gnocchi with Beef Cheek Ragu.
Paired with Casa Dea Cabernet Franc.

Marinated Patchwork Gardens beets, Verlinden red endive and C’est Bon goat cheese.
Paired with Redstone Riesling.

Sir John’s Public House
Venison chili garnished with homemade tortilla chips.
 Paired with Red Leaf Lager, Great Lakes Brewery.

Tango Nuevo
Croquetas de Pollo with Lyon’s Farm chicken and spicy mustard.

Windmills Casual Fine Dining
Enright Cattle Co.  braised chuck and polenta.
